Sports Injury Rehabilitation is a multi-disciplinary approach to the prevention, evaluation, and treatment of sports related injuries. The initial stage of treatment involves reducing pain and promoting healing followed by progressive reconditioning.

Sports Rehabilitation is targeted to specific goals such as mobility, flexibility training, coordination of balance and joint positioning using various techniques and procedures including: Functional activities, Sports/Activity specific exercises and training, Bracing and taping (athletic and kinesiotaping), Fabrication of protective pads and Proprioceptive training etc for variety of conditions like acute sports injuries, strains, sprains, muscle, tendon and ligament repairs, tendonitis, hand injuries, shoulder dislocation, foot or ankle dysfunction and surgery rehab.

Sports Injury Rehabilitation is critical to help and ensure that an athlete return to the game as quickly as possible. Kanishk Team provides state-of-the-art clinical care for athletes of all ages and skill levels.

In the case of serious, life altering injuries such as a spinal injury or brain damage, there is an immense impact on the daily life of the patient as he or she struggles with even the most basic day-to-day activities. Neurological conditions can cause debilitating weakness, poor balance and reduced mobility that can interfere with daily activities. In addition, the reduced mobility and decreased physical function caused by some neurological conditions can also lead to impaired heart and lung function, fatigue, falls and – in some cases – social isolation. A physiotherapy treatment plan will use specific therapeutic exercises designed to improve balance, coordination, strength, flexibility, cardiovascular function and overall mood. There are specific exercises designed to activate the muscles affected by the nerves. The goal of neuro rehabilitation is to make the nerves relearn and maximize their functionality.
Neurorehabilitation is focused on variety of treatment approaches like Therapeutic treatments & Remediation treatments help restore lost skills through repetitive, specialist exercises.Compensatory treatments help utilise intact skills to make up for deficits in other areas and Cognitive treatments - the brain as an amazing ability to adapt and recover after injury. Parts of the brain can re-purpose themselves to take over the functioning of the damaged areas. This is most effective soon after the injury, when the brain releases certain hormones that help aid recovery and neurogenesis occurs - the growth of new neurons. Progressive neurological disorders such as dementias, Parkinson's and tumours and isolated neurological events such as traumatic brain injuries and strokes can benefit enormously from neuro rehabilitation

Kanishk team works to limit this loss of ability so that our patients can regain some sense of normalcy and achieve the maximum level of functionality. Neurological rehabilitation helps patients recover from a nervous system injury while reducing or adjusting for any residual nervous system dysfunction. In order to cope with a condition that affects both the individual and the individual’s family, neuro rehabilitation helps to create a new way of living so that an affected individual is able to live and work as normally as possible.

The term “chiropractic” combines the Greek words cheir (hand) and praxis (practice) to describe a treatment done by hand. Hands-on therapy—especially adjustment of the spine—is central to chiropractic care. Chiropractic is based on the notion that the relationship between the body’s structure (primarily that of the spine) and its function (as coordinated by the nervous system) affects health. Chiropractics a allied health-care profession that focuses on the adjustments of the spine and other joints of the body to and their connection to the nervous system. The word “chiropractic” means “to be done by hand.”. They help patients maintain optimal health while avoiding unnecessary drugs or surgery.

The World Health Organization found chiropractic care in general is safe when employed skilfully and appropriately.It implies very safe, specific, controlled force application to a joint to restore proper function and mobility. Accidents, falls, stress or overexertion can negatively impact your spine or other joints which later on impact tissues, the nervous system and other areas of the body are Left unresolved and so can make you more susceptible to chronic problems. Chiropractic adjustments reduce pain, increase movement and improve performance and overall quality of life of an individual.

As the wellbeing of an individual depends on their bones, muscles, ligaments and connective tissue functioning smoothly together, Osteopathy is a drug-free, non-invasive manual therapy that aims to improve health across all body systems by manipulating and strengthening the musculoskeletal framework. Osteopathy treatment  emphasizes on various treatment techniques like  manual readjustments, myofascial release and other physical manipulation of muscle tissue and bones. It greatly helps in increasing the mobility of joints, relieving muscle tension, enhancing the blood supply to tissues  thus helping the body to heal

Practitioners of osteopathy are referred to as osteopaths. Its name derives from Ancient Greek "bone" and "sensitive to" or "responding to" While the national health services of some countries consider there is "good" evidence for osteopathy as a treatment for low back pain and "limited evidence to suggest it may be effective for some types of neck, shoulder or lower limb pain and recovery after hip or knee operations", there is no, or insufficient, evidence that osteopathy is effective as a treatment for health conditions "unrelated" to the bones and muscles, "such as headaches, migraines, painful periods, digestive disorders, depression and excessive crying in babies;
